The Asia Community Development Organization – ACDO has established itself as a trusted and capable national NGO with extensive experience in pre and post Monitoring and Evaluation, Need assessments and Site surveys across Afghanistan. With a proven record of excellence in needs assessments, project evaluations, baseline and endline surveys, data collection, and verification, ACDO has supported numbers of donor-funded programs to ensure that interventions remain evidence-based, results-oriented, and responsive to community needs.
ACDO's technical expertise spans all thematic sectors, including Education, WASH, Livelihoods, Agriculture and Food Security, Protection, Health and Nutrition and Humanitarian Response. ACDO has led and contributed to a wide range of field-based surveys, post-distribution monitoring, outcome evaluations, and impact studies, employing both quantitative and qualitative methodologies aligned with international standards and donor requirements including UN agencies, INGO partners and biliteral donors.
Our dedicated MEAL and research teams are equipped with advanced digital tools and methodologies for real-time data collection, analysis, and reporting. ACDO employs systems that ensure data quality, accuracy, confidentiality, and integrity through demanding processes of data clearance, triangulation, and verification. The ACDO's capacity also extends to designing and implementing third-party monitoring and independent evaluation projects, supporting government and donor agencies in validating results and strengthening accountability.
With an active operational presence in 19 provinces in November 2025 across all regions of Afghanistan, ACDO maintains strong relationships with provincial and district authorities, community-based structures, and local stakeholders, enabling access to remote and hard-to-reach areas. This extensive reach ensures that ACDO can conduct nationwide assessments and surveys with cultural sensitivity, logistical efficiency, and methodological rigor.
ACDO is well-positioned to undertake future evaluation, assessment, and survey assignments for international and national partners, donors, and institutions. Our commitment to transparency, learning, and adaptive programming continues to guide our monitoring and evaluation efforts, ensuring that every intervention contributes effectively to sustainable community development and humanitarian impact across Afghanistan.
